小１の息子(里子）のまわりには恐いものがいっぱい。幽霊やお化け、「こびと図鑑」の類はほぼ実在のものとして認識しているようです。でも、恐いだけでは息子は終わりません。恐いものの正体を突き詰め研究しようと日夜努力しています。
学校や図書館で借りてくる本といえば、お化けやこびとの本ばかり。もちろんディズニーランドでは「ホーンテッドマンション」に必ず行きます。
でも、いざ入る直前にはやっぱり恐くなるのです。その時頼りにするのはママではなくてパパ。ヒーローごっこの時は敵役専門ですが、この時ばかりは英雄に変身！だっこしたり手を握ったりして息子を励まします。心強い味方に守られた息子はいよいよ敵地に足を踏み入れるのでした・・・。」
パパはといえば、普段はしがないサラリーマンですが、子どもといるときは自分が幼い頃夢見たクリント・イーストウッドやスティーブ・マックィーン演じる英雄や悪漢になれます。夢がかなったのです！
でも、この夢はたぶんあと1,２年で終わりで、その後は違う役が回ってくるのでしょう。でも今はこの夢をかみしめながら息子をかかえているのです。
----There are many horrifying things around my son (one grader in elementary school)..Ghosts and/or monsters...or illustrated encyclopedia of midgets..He acknowledges all these things as real. He just can't stop there, but he's researching day and night to identify the horrified creatures.
Every book he borrows from the school library is related to these. Naturally, he loves to go into "The Haunted Mansion" at Disneyland without fail. Even with his pre-research, he become horrified when he enters the house. In this type of situation, he depends upon his father, not mother.When they play heroes, the father plays always his enemy, but in this format, the father turns into the real hero! The father tries to hold up the son or holds his hands or peps him up. With the strong ally protecting him closeby, the son finally steped into his enemy's territory....
Speaking of his dad, he is simply a poor salary-man, but when he is with his son, the father could feel just like heroes or villains for whom Clint Eastwood or Steve McQueen play in movies ...(The father must have dreamed of their coolness when he was young) This is what father felt " My dream came true"...
Well, to make a long story short, this dream in this format would cease to an end in more or less 1~2 years, then he'll get some different role later in life, but at least for now, he's taking care of son with his dream cherished/came true......
