子どもとの楽しい時間が一転するきっかけはいつもたわいないこと。

お風呂に入るのがめんどくさいとか、
宿題するのがいやだとか、
部屋が散らかり放題で叱られたとか。

そういちろうくん家族と遊園地に遊びに行った時だってそう。

あんまりメリーゴーランドが楽しかったからもう一回乗りたかった けんた。

「今日はおしまい。また今度ね。」と止めたら、楽しい雰囲気が一転。

しばらくしてこう叫んだ。

「おかあさんの家族になんかなりたくなかった！！」

小学生になって、たまにこんな暴言を吐くようになった。

その様子を見ていたそういちろう君のママが言った。

「…そういちろうも暴言吐くわよ。この前、おかあさんの子どもになんてなりたくなかった！！って言われたもの。」

 「私たちが一番言われたくないこと、分かってるのよね。」

「うん、うん、良くも悪くも頭がよくなったよね。これからもっといろいろ言ってくるんでしょうね。」

でも、私たちはわかってる。

けんたもそういちろうくんも、本気でそう思ってるわけじゃないことを。

思う存分ぶつかっておいで。

そうやって大きくなるのを見るのも楽しみのひとつなんだから。

It is always a silly reason that suddenly a good time can change into a bad time.

It's too much of a bother to take a bath,
It's too much of a bother to do homework,
Parents screamed at me because I haven’t cleaned my room.

It was the same pattern that when I went to a theme park with Soichiro-kun’s family.
 

Kenta wanted to ride the Merry-go-round one more time because it was so much fun. “We are done today. Next time” I told him. The next moment, our fun time had been flipped right away… Kenta screamed “That’s why I didn’t want to be in your family, mom!”

 
Since Kenta became an elementary school student, he began to lash out like this sometimes.

Soichiro’s mom said, “Soichiro also lashes out like that. Some time ago, he said to me that he didn’t want to be born as my child; he likes his friend’s mother because she is sweet.”

Kenta-kun’s foster parent replied, “They know what we don’t want to be said”.

Soichiro’s mom replied, “Yeah, yeah. They became smart both in good and bad ways. They will say more kinds of things like this”

But we understand that Kenta and Soichiro are not really thinking what they said to us.

Angry, Crying….. I like that they throw their emotions to us very straight because it’s what families do.

Son, come and throw your emotions. It’s one kind of fun as a mother that I can watch you growing up.
